The upcoming anime adaptation of Historie has revealed its first full trailer alongside a brand-new teaser visual, main cast details, and confirmation of a January 2027 premiere window.
The anime is based on the acclaimed historical manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki, creator of Parasyte, and is being animated by LIDEN FILMS.
The newly released trailer offers the first major look at the anime’s historical setting, large-scale battles, political tension, and emotional character moments while introducing several of the main cast members.
The announced voice cast includes:

Historie follows the life of Eumenes, a brilliant strategist and secretary who would later become one of the closest companions of Alexander the Great. The story explores war, politics, philosophy, survival, and the harsh realities of the ancient world while tracing Eumenes’ journey from childhood to his rise within history.
The original manga began serialization in 2003 and has received multiple major awards over the years, including the Grand Prize at the Japan Media Arts Festival and the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize.
The anime adaptation is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
