Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. is officially returning with its second anime season on July 4, 2026.
The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new visual featuring the returning characters as the series prepares to continue its unique mix of magical girl action, comedy, and workplace drama.
The new visual highlights Kana Sakuragi and the members of Magilumiere Co. while teasing more magical battles and company-related challenges in the upcoming season.
Produced by studio Moe and J.C.STAFF, Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. takes place in a world where magical girls are treated as professional workers tasked with eliminating dangerous supernatural threats known as Kaii.
The story follows Kana Sakuragi, a university graduate struggling to find employment who unexpectedly joins the startup company Magilumiere Inc. Despite lacking confidence at first, Kana gradually develops her abilities while working alongside experienced magical girls and learning the realities of the industry.
The first anime season aired in 2025 and quickly stood out for combining traditional magical girl themes with modern office culture and business comedy.
Season 2 is expected to continue adapting the manga written by Sekka Iwata and illustrated by Yu Aoki, further exploring both the action-heavy magical battles and the relationships between the company’s employees.
The anime will premiere in Japan on July 4, 2026.
