ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister! has released a special opening song music video featuring Mahiro and Mihari to celebrate the launch of Volume 11 of the manga in Japan.
The newly released video features a special version of the anime’s opening theme song, "Identeitei Meltdown Mahiro & Mihari ver.", performed by the series’ two main characters: Mahiro Oyama and Mihari Oyama.
The music video highlights various scenes and illustrations centered around the siblings while revisiting the colorful and energetic atmosphere that became one of the anime adaptation’s trademarks.
Originally animated by Studio Bind, ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister! aired from January to March 2023 and quickly gained attention for its comedic slice-of-life storytelling, expressive animation, and character-driven humor.
The story follows Mahiro Oyama, a shut-in gamer whose life changes completely after his younger sister Mihari transforms him into a girl through one of her scientific experiments. Forced to adapt to a completely new lifestyle, Mahiro gradually reconnects with the outside world while navigating school life, friendships, and everyday experiences from a different perspective.
The original manga by Nekotofu continues serialization in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Rex magazine.
The special music video was released as part of the celebration surrounding the publication of Volume 11 in Japan on May 27, 2026.
