Jujutsu sorcerers are trained to detect and eliminate them by using cursed energy and specialized techniques.
The story begins when high school student Yuji Itadori encounters a cursed object containing one of the fingers of Ryomen Sukuna, the most feared curse in history.
To protect others, Yuji swallows the finger and becomes Sukuna’s vessel.
Although he retains control of his body most of the time, jujutsu authorities sentence him to death. The execution is temporarily delayed so that Yuji can consume the remaining fingers and allow Sukuna to be permanently eliminated with him.
Yuji enrolls at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where he trains alongside Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki under the guidance of Satoru Gojo.
