SNK has released a brand-new animated promotional video for Mr. Karate ahead of the character’s official arrival in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
The newly revealed animation highlights the mysterious fighter’s intimidating presence, martial arts mastery, and iconic tengu mask while teasing his upcoming debut as part of the game’s Season Pass 2 DLC lineup.
The short animated feature presents Mr. Karate in a cinematic style inspired by classic SNK storytelling, showcasing powerful attacks, dramatic visuals, and references tied to the long-running Art of Fighting universe.
According to SNK, Mr. Karate officially joins the roster on May 27, 2026, as the fifth downloadable character included in Season Pass 2.
The character’s identity has become a major topic among fans following hints suggesting that this version of Mr. Karate may actually be Robert Garcia beneath the mask rather than the traditional Takuma Sakazaki incarnation.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is the latest entry in SNK’s legendary fighting game franchise and features a modernized combat system, rollback netcode, cross-platform online play, and the new REV System designed to encourage aggressive gameplay.
The game is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
