The upcoming romantic comedy anime Uchi no Otouto Domo ga Sumimasen has revealed a brand-new trailer ahead of its July 2026 premiere in Japan.
The newly released video previews additional scenes from the anime while also giving fans a first listen to both the opening and ending theme songs. The trailer highlights the series’ mix of comedy, family dynamics, romance, and emotional slice-of-life moments.
The opening theme song is titled "Boys be Brave", while the ending theme song is "Doushite".
The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 3, 2026, and will run for two consecutive cours.
The series is being animated by Lay-duce, with Hitoshi Nanba directing the adaptation. Megumi Shimizu is handling the series composition, while Shiori Hiraiwa and Yoko Fukushima are responsible for the character designs.
Uchi no Otouto Domo ga Sumimasen follows Ito Narita, a high school girl whose life changes after her mother remarries. Following the move, Ito suddenly finds herself living together with four younger stepbrothers. Although the new family arrangement initially feels overwhelming, she gradually begins building strong bonds with her new siblings as they navigate everyday life together.
The anime is based on the manga series by Akira Ozaki, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine since 2020.
